Abby graduated from the University of Brighton in 2000, where she gained a BA (Hons) in Law & Accountancy, and later went on to gain a further degree at Oxford Brookes University with a BSc (Hons) Applied Accounting, where she attained the status of Part-Qualified Accountant with ACCA.
She started her career as a Junior Accounts Assistant at a local company in Crawley, progressing through the ranks to Executive Assistant, then Finance & Administration Manager, and all the way up to UK Branch Manager where she was responsible for running the UK Sales, Service, Finance, Administration, HR, Operations & Logistics and Customer Service departments.
Realising that the stresses and strains of management and travelling the world was not giving her the work-life balance she craved, Abby decided to move back into her most favoured area of work, namely accountancy and started working part-time whilst also writing a novel, which she self-published in 2011.
Abby took a career break when her twin girls came along in 2015 and venturing back into the workplace with Composure in 2019 once her girls were settled into playschool.
Abby is now bravely re-starting the journey towards becoming a fully qualified certified chartered accountant with ACCA.
